ST. MARTIN PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Thibodeaux and Carter Potts, both of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, have been identified as the victims in a Sunday afternoon double-fatal vehicle crash in St. Martin Parish.

Chris Thibodeaux, 41, and 16-year-old Potts, were both killed in a single-vehicle crash in Breaux Bridge Sunday afternoon.

According to reports, Thibodeaux was operating a vehicle on LA-328 near Juleau Champagne Road in Breaux Bridge, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 1 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then entered a ditch and rolled over multiple times.

Thibodeaux, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.

Potts was also pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.

This cause of the crash remains under investigation.
