RILEY COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Kelly Clements, of Fort Riley, Kansas, has been identified as the wrong-way driver killed in a double-fatal crash Monday night in Riley County.

Donna May, 72, from Milford, Kansas, was killed in a two-vehicle wrong-way crash in Fort Riley Monday night.

According to reports, Clements, 32, was operating a Chevrolet Cruze the wrong-way on Interstate 70 near Exit 301 in Fort Riley, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a Hyundai Elantra operated by 76-year-old Gary May from Milford around 7 p.m. Monday night.

Donna May, a passenger in the Hyundai Elantra, and Clements, were both pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.

Clements was originally from Dixons Mills, Alabama, according to facebook.

Gary May was transported to an area hospital with serious unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
