ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Corey Jacob Howard, of Lakeville, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday morning fatal vehicle crash in St. Joseph County.
Howard, 31, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lakeville Sunday morning.

According to reports, Howard was operating a pickup truck on the 65000 block of IN-65 near New Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway before coming into contact with a substantial tree around 7:40 a.m. Sunday.
Howard was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
