GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Curtavious Smith, of Greenville, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday evening fatal shooting in Greenville County. Ivy Robinson was taken into custody and charged with murder in the deadly incident.

According to reports, Smith, 24, and 22-year-old Robinson, were engaged in a dispute over a vehicle in the backyard area of 240 Clemson Avenue in Greenville, SC, when Robinson shot and killed Smith, her boyfriend, around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies responded to a call of shots fired, when they arrived, Smith was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the backyard of the home.

Smith was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

Robinson was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Officials say, Robinson shot and killed Smith, who she had a relationship with, following a verbal and physical fight over a vehicle.

Robinson is expected to appear in bond court Friday morning.
