DALLAS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jeremy Chase Spencer, of Frisco, Texas, has been identified as the suspected impaired driver in a Friday Dallas County crash that killed 13-year-old Brooklyn Moran.
Spencer, 30, is believed to be driving while intoxicated in Garland, when his vehicle collided with an SUV operated by Moran’s mother.

Brooklyn “Mighty Mouse” Moran was killed in the collision. Her 13-year-old friend, Isabella Simpson, is expected to survive while Moran’s mother was transported in critical condition.
According to reports, Spencer was operating a Dodge pickup truck impaired on Castle Drive near Toler Road in Garland, when the vehicle crossed centerline and into opposing lanes around 5 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with an SUV carrying the teens and Moran’s 37-year-old mother. The SUV then burst into flames.
Spencer remained at the scene and suffered only minor injuries.
Moran was pronounced dead at the scene of injuries suffered in the crash.
Spencer was arrested and later transported to the hospital for his injuries.
Spencer has been charged with two counts of Intoxication Assault/ Vehicle-Serious Bodily Injury and Intoxication Manslaughter.
