WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Naomi Soriano-Vassef and Christopher Ali Vassef, of Elgin, Texas, have been identified as the victims in a Monday night double-fatal vehicle crash involving suspected DUI driver, 40-year-old John Crayton, in Williamson County.
Soriano, 39, and 38-year-old Vassef, were both killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Taylor Monday night.

Crayton was arrested and is facing a second-degree felony charge.
According to reports, Crayton was operating a vehicle while allegedly intoxicated on FM-973 near Taylor High School and Carlos G Parker Boulevard Southwest in Taylor, when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign around 6:20 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then came into contact with a vehicle operated by the Elgin couple. A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash.
Vassef and Soriano were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
It is unknown if anyone else was injured in the crash.
Crayton is charged with intoxication manslaughter.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
