SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Peyton Nurse, of La Mesa, California, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday morning vehicle crash in San Diego County.
Nurse, 21, was injured in a single-vehicle crash in El Cajon early Thursday.

According to reports, Nurse was operating a vehicle on Route 67 near Broadway and Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon, When for unknown reasons, the vehicle failed to make a turn on Broadway and came into contact with a utility pole around 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
Nurse, a computer science student at California State University in Northridge, was transported to an area hospital where he was placed on life support, according to sources.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
