FRANKLIN COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Alexa Gallagher, of Tupper Lake, New York, has been identified as the suspect in the fatal stabbing of her mother, Melissa Guisewhite in Franklin County Thursday.
Gallagher, 26, has been charged with the murder of 51-year-old “Missy” Guisewhite Thursday in the Adirondack village of Tupper Lake.

According to reports, Guisewhite was found dead inside the home she shared with her daughter at 50 Lakeview Ave in Tupper Lake at around 1 p.m. Thursday.
Gallagher was later arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
Gallagher is being held in the Franklin County Jail on a no-bail order.
Guisewhite was originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
