JACKSON COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Rogan Vickers, of Wellston, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal vehicle crash in Jackson County.
Vickers, 19, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Wellston Saturday night.

According to reports, Vickers was operating a Jeep Wrangler on OH-327, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then came into contact with a guardrail.
Vickers and his front seat passenger were both ejected from the vehicle during the wreck.
Vickers was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The passenger sustained unknown injuries and was transported to an area hospital via LifeFlight.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
