SAN ANTONIO, TX. (THECOUNT) — Carey Latimore, Ph.D., an associate professor of history at Trinity University whose teaching focused on African American and Black history, died Tuesday. He was 46.
Latimore was also a frequent guest on San Antonio news outlet KSAT.

He was a guest on KSAT Q&A and several livestreams dealing with everything from San Antonio’s African American History to Juneteenth to the intersection of race and policing. He also was an accomplished author, speaker, and ordained Baptist minister, reports KSAT.
A cause of death was not provided.
