EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Kerriel Joseph, of Hammond, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle crash in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Joseph, 22, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Baton Rouge just before midnight Wednesday.

According to reports, Joseph was traveling as a passenger in a Hyundai Elantra on 500 block of Interstate 12 in Baton Rouge, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle pulled to the shoulder. The vehicle was then rear-ended by a Chevrolet Silverado around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Joseph was killed in the crash.
No other detail of the crash were provided as of Thursday afternoon.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
