DESOTO COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Ebony Crockett, 44, has been identified as the victim in a Friday shooting at an Amazon facility in Horn Lake, Mississippi.
The suspect, who has been identified as Corey D. Brewer, was subsequently shot dead during a traffic stop.

Memphis police confirmed Brewer was killed in an officer-involved shooting at 3:20 p.m. near Whitten Road and I-40 in nearby Memphis Tennessee.
Crockett was pronounced dead on the scene of gunshot injuries. She was shot three times.
According to reports, Crockett had a no contact order against Brewer which was issued on May 5th in Poinsett County, Arkansas. It references charges of stalking and harassment communications. Brewer was ordered to stay away from Crockett’s job.
