Henry Ruggs, wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, was involved in a serious car accident early Tuesday in Clark County, Nevada.
The former Alabama star, 22, was involved in a vehicle crash early Tuesday in Las Vegas.
According to reports, the wreck occurred in central Las Vegas Valley area around 3:40 a.m. according to the initial report.
Ruggs’ condition is unknown at this time, though local reporting indicated a fatality was involved in the crash.
In his second season with the Raiders, Ruggs 24 catches for 469 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Ruggs was a four-star recruit out of Robert E. Lee High School (AL) in 2017. He was the No.75 overall player in the 247Sports Composite, as well as the No. 11 wide receiver.
An All-SEC player with the Crimson Tide, the Montgomery, Alabama native accumulated 1,716 yards and 24 touchdowns on 98 catches and has averaged more than 17.5 yards per reception over his three years for the Crimson Tide, while also contributing on UA’s special teams.
