MARION COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Jerry Baldinger, of Caledonia, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal lawn mower vehicle crash in Marion County.
Baldinger, 61, was killed in a fiery two-vehicle collision near Caledonia On Wednesday.

According to reports, Baldinger was operating a John Deere lawn mower near his home in the 8000 block of Marseilles-Galion Rd E, when the mower came into contact with a passenger vehicle, operated by 72-year-old David Burns, of Marion.
Following the impact, both vehicle burst into in flames.
Baldinger was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of thermal and blunt force trauma injuries.
Burns was treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
