ESCAMBIA COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Scott Lassiter, of Flomaton, Alabama, has been identified as the suspect in a Saturday night double-shooting in Escambia County.
Lassiter, 51, a correctional officer at the Century Correctional Institution, is accused of shooting two men while attending an adult birthday party near Flomaton Saturday night.

According to reports, Lassiter was attending a birthday party near Mcmurphy Lane and Old Atmore Rd, when for unknown reasons, he opened fire on two men. He then fled the scene.
Lassiter was later taken into custody just around 11 p.m. after he was located by a K-9 officer. He was booked into the Escambia County, AL Detention Center in Brewton.
The victims were transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Their identities have not been released.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
