SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Michael Truscott, of Blackwood, Pennsylvania, and Dayla Austerberry, of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, have been identified as the victims in a Saturday morning double-fatal vehicle crash in Schuylkill County.
Truscott, 21, and 18-year-old Austerberry, were both killed in a single-vehicle crash near Reilly Township early Saturday morning.

According to reports, Truscott was operating a vehicle on US-209 near Pottsville, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the rodway around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with a berm and rolled over. The vehicle then came to rest after making contact with a grouping of trees, ejecting Austerberry.
Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
