INDIANA COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Christian Shugars, of Derry, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a single-motorcycle crash in Indiana County Friday morning.
Shugars, 22, was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday morning near Blairsville.

According to reports, Shugars was operating a Yamaha R6 on Pizza Barn Road in Blairsville, when the bike lost control in gravel around 10 a.m. Friday. The bike then made contact with a utility pole.
Shugars was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
