MONROE COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Darrian May Young, of Deerfield, Michigan, has died in a hospital after she was involved in a suspected DUI crash in Monroe County on Thursday.
Young, 24, was pronounced dead at around 12:15 a.m. Saturday morning in an area hospital after the fully marked unit she was operting was struck by a suspected DUI driver Thursday.

According to reports, Young was operating a marked police pickup truck, when the vehicle was struck by a minivan operated by a 44-year-old Hudson woman on South Raisinville Road near S Custer Rd in Monroe Charter Township on Thursday.
A third vehicle was then involved in the collision.
The 44-year-old Hudson woman sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transporte to an area hospital.
The driver of the third vehicle suffered unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and charges may be pending.
