AUGUSTA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Long time member of the Augusta Judicial Circuit, Judge Douglas Flanagan, passed away Thursday morning, according to several reports.
Flanagan, whose age was not provided, died at his home on Thursday morning.

Flanagan was well know by teens over his frequent visits to local schools to talk about the dangers of going down a wrong path.
He was also known for having a mock school bus in his courtroom where teens with driving infractions were instructed to place their licenses after suspension.
Flanagan was a juvenile court judge of Burke County, Colquitt, Columbia County, and Richmond Georgia
A cause of death was not provided.
