PEORIA COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Percy Llewellyn King of Peoria, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday shooting in Peoria County.
King, 33, was shot dead in a Sunday morning shooting that also critically injured another man.

According to reports, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 1500 block of South Westmoreland Avenue, in Peoria, around 3 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, police found a group of at least 200 people surrounding a residence on the same block.
While dispersing the crowd, officials located two men suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.
King, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The unidentified second victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say that multiple vehicles and structures were struck by gunfire.
No suspect or motive information was made available by officials.
