GALLATIN COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Hanna McCree of Herrin, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Friday evening fatal ATV crash in Gallatin County.
McCree, 23, was killed in an ATV crash near Harrisburg on Friday evening.

According to reports, 30-year-old Derrick Gage Jackson, of Golconda, Illinois, was operating an ATV in the Pounds Hollow Recreation Area Friday, when the vehicle crashed around 5 p.m. Friday.
McCree, a passenger traveling on the Polaris Razor ATV, was thrown from the vehicle after it apparently came into contact with a substantial tree in Pounds Hollow.
Jackson was transported to an area hospital with unknown non-life threatening injuries.
McCree was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
