BEAVER COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Elliott, of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle on Interstate 76 in Beaver County Sunday.
Elliott, 44, was killed after being hit by a semi-truck early Sunday morning along the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Arona.

According to reports, Elliott was on-foot on I-76 in the area of North Sewickley Township, when he was hit by a passing big-rig around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Elliott was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and fully cooperated with arriving officials.
No one was cited at the scene.
The deadly incident remains under investigtion.
