RAY COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Adam Tyler Allred, of Richmond, Missouri, was identified by KSHB, as the victim in a fatal vehicle-versus-train collision in Ray County Sunday night.
KSHB reported Monday morning that Allred, 30, was killed and an unidentified woman seriously injured in a collision with a train near Camden, Missouri, Sunday night. However, a family member is reporting that not only was Allred not killed in the crash, but he is being released from the hospital.

THECOUNT.COM has learned that Allred’s passenger, 32-year-old Ashley Harder, was the victim in the fatal crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Allred was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
We received an email from “Keeley,” who brought the discrepancy to our attention:

A man was killed and a woman was seriously injured in a collision with a train in Camden, Missouri, Sunday night.
The crash happened just after 9 p.m. on Camden Road, south of Front Street.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of a 1998 Ford Escort drove around a train crossing arm.
The vehicle was then struck by an oncoming train.
Adam Allred, 30, of Richmond, was killed in the crash.
His passenger was seriously injured and taken via helicopter to a hospital.
According to reports, Allred was operating a Ford Escort Camden Road near Front Street in Camden, when he attempted to go around a train crossing arm. The vehicle was then struck by a passing train around 9:30 p.m.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
