MANATEE COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Alfredo Miranda, of Sarasota, Florida, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Manatee County Tuesday night.

According to officials, Miranda was operating a Infiniti G35 on N Tamiami Trail near Pearl Avenue, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Tuesday Night before midnight. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree on FL-41.
Miranda, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
