ENOREE, SC. (THECOUNT) — Summer Brooke Sullivan, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in an early Friday morning single-vehicle crash in Spartanburg County.
Sullivan, 28, was involved in a fatal single-vehicle collision near Enoree early Friday morning.

According to Spartanburg County officials, Sullivan was operating a Ford vehicle on U.S. 221 near Enoree, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 1:30 a.m. Friday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree before coming to a rest.
Sullivan had to be mechanically extracted and was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the violent crash.
A passenger in the vehicle survived the crash.
According to highway patrol the passenger was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the accident, reports FoxCarolina.
According to Facebook, Sullivan is the mother to a baby born in February.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
