MIDLAND COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Joseph A. Davis, of Cutler Bay, Florida, has been identified as the victim killed in a vehicle crash in Midland, Texas on Thursday.
Davis, 54, was killed in a crash that injured four other people east of Midland on Thursday.

According to reports, troopers responded to a crash involving a Dodge Ram 2500 and a big-rig on FM 1379 and CR-160 around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. When troopers arrived, they discovered a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler and a Dodge Ram that was towing a trailer.
According to DPS, the 18-wheeler failed to yield at a posted stop sign and collided with the pickup.
Davis, who was operating the tractor-trailer, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passengers of the Ram were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment, reports CBS7.
Jeremiah Osgood, 34, of Christoval, Texas, Jose Ramirez, 47, of Odessa, Nathaniel Davidson, 28, of San Angelo, and Joshua Fitts, 28, of San Angelo, were all hurt in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
