CHARLES TOWN, WV. (THECOUNT) — Alisha Rae Shamburg and Hunter Muse, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal vehicle crash near Charles Town, West Virginia on Thursday night.
Muse, 17, a West Virginia high school senior, and 30-year-old Shamburg, both died Thursday night in a head-on collision on Route 51 near Charles Town, according to officials.

Reports say, a Kia Sorento and a Dodge Ram collided head-on around 7:30 p.m. while traveling on Route 51 near Ambler Road, in Middleway intersection.
One of the vehicles reportedly burst into flames.
Muse and Shamburg were both pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma and thermal injuries.
The Kia’s driver, 18-year-old Dylan Mills, is also a Jefferson High School senior. He was airlifted to a hospital in Virginia and was in stable condition Friday, school officials said.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
Jefferson High has added additional grief counselors at the school, reports WOAY.
