Winnebago County Coroner Bill Hintz said his cause of death is “pending further studies,” which means toxicology results and microscopic studies still need to be finalized, reports WREX.

Badruddoja was last seen at his home on the 7700 block of Creek Bend on Oct. 27.

On Nov. 4, police say they found the doctor’s car at Sinnissippi Gardens Park.

Police said on Nov. 25, the disappearance was suspicious, but no foul play is suspected based on the information gathered to this point.

When Badruddoja went missing, police said he may be in need of medical attention due to on-going health issues and not having his medication, according to police. However, Badruddoja’s family told 13 WREX on Nov. 30 that he didn’t have dementia or cognitive health problems, saying he was healthy and active.

The death is an ongoing investigation.
