POYNETTE, WI. (THECOUNT) — 68-year-old Kenneth Russell Nelson, who bears a striking resemblance to Santa Clause – was dressed in his Santa suit when he went missing on Christmas evening, according to officials.

Neighbors said they last saw Nelson, of Poynette, WI, at around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 25 as he departed his 202 Hillside Ter. apartment building for an unknown destination.

According to police, he never returned home. His cellphone was recovered inside his dwelling.

Nelson has a medical pendant but the batteries died, authorities added.

Nelson was last seen wearing a “full Santa suit,” according to police, which included a red jacket, hat and pants, with black boots.

He is described as a white man about five-feet tall, weighing 200 lbs, with blue eyes and short, gray hair with a full beard. He has a scar on his abdomen and one on each of his calves. He may be in a silver Chevrolet Impala with the Wisconsin license plate 775RAX, reports WKOW.
