BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS. (THECOUNT) — Former West Indies cricketer Courtney Browne and his wife Tricia were injured during an early morning collision near Bridgetown, Barbados early morning, according to Sunday reports.

Michael McClean, 37, of Bridgetown, was killed in the violent crash that occurred on Ronald Mapp Hwy near the Bagatelle Great House around 4 a.m. in Barbados.

Browne, 49, suffered a broken leg and his wife Tricia, 47, complained of chest and lower abdominal pains.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals in unknown condition.

McClean was reportedly travelling south and the Brownes north when the collision occurred, reports NationNews.

The Jaws of Life was used to free those trapped in the mangled BMW.
