MEEKER COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Michelle Ann Bengtson of Litchfield, MN, has been identified as the victim killed in a Forest Prairie Township crash Tuesday, according to Wednesday reports.

Bengtson, 32, was killed Tuesday morning in a rollover crash in near Richmond in Meeker County.

The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on County Road 21 in Forest Prairie Township Tuesday.

Bengtson was operating a vehicle on County Highway-21, when for unknown reasons, she crossed centerlines and exited the roadway.

Bengtson, who goes by “Michelle Nething,” was ejected from the vehicle during the violent crash.

Bengtson was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The sheriff’s office said Bengtson was driving westbound on County Road 21 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to leave the road and roll multiple times, reports KSTP.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
