LEBANON, OH. (THECOUNT) — Centerville teen, Mason Nicholas Trudics, has been identified as the Warren County Career Center student found fatally shot outside a Lebanon residence Friday, according to reports.

Trudics, 18, was shot dead and another teen injured following an early-morning shooting near the 1800 block of Oregonia Road near Hathaway Hill in Turtlecreek Township.

It deadly incident occurred around 3 a.m. Friday after someone reported to police prowlers in the neighborhood.

Shortly before that 911 call, officials said there was gunfire outside of the caller’s home.

Officials with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrived and located two victims suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.

One victim was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

Trudics was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wounded teen’s name was not released, reports WLWT.

Warren County Sheriff Chief Deputy Barry Riley said while they are still very early into the investigation, they believe there is no danger to residents. They ask for patience while detectives and the crime scene unit process the area.

Investigators have not provided any suspect or motive information. It is unclear if there are any suspects outstanding.
