SLEEPY HOLLOW, IL. (THECOUNT) — Maurice Patterson has been identified as the Austin, IL man, found suffering from gunshot injuries while inside a vehicle in Sleepy Hollow, according to reports.
Patterson, 23, was fatally shot Tuesday while he was driving in Sleepy Hollow located on the Southwest Side of Chicago.

Patterson was operating a vehicle on 45th Street around 1 p.m. when shots were fired at him from the street near South Knox Avenue, Chicago police said.
Patterson, who was struck in the head, was transported Code 3 to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
No one is in custody and no suspect information was provided by officials.
