CEBU CITY, PH. (THECOUNT) — Mabolo Police officials say, Michael Douglas, an “American national,” has been identified as the man killed in a fall from a hotel located in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City Tuesday, according to reports.
Douglas, 66, died after he reportedly jumped from the eighth floor balcony of the hotel located along H. Borgonia Street, Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.

Police say, Douglass “may have suffered from anxiety attack,” when he leapt from the 8th floor of hotel.
“The reason why he haven’t been able to sleep well the last five days,” said Police Executive Master Sergeant Jefferey Larrobis of the Mabolo Police Station.
Larrobis said that Douglas checked into the hotel about a week ago with a female companion, reports cebudailynews.
The deadly incident may have occurred at the Mabolo Royal Hotel. This information has not been confirmed.
