PHILADELPHIA, PA. (THECOUNT) — Police say, three people are dead in a triple-shooting inside a Philadelphia home in the Tacony section of the city on Monday night, according to reports.

A 28-year-old woman is in custody in a horror shooting that took the life of a 6-month-old infant and a 6-year-old girl. A 35-year-old man was also pronounced dead at the scene.

The deadly incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 6300 block of Hegerman Street on Tuesday night.

The unidentified 28-year-old woman, the 6-month-old infant and the 8-year-old girl were transported to area hospital where they were later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

Officials said the woman suffered a graze wound to her head. She is being treated at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.

Police believe that the woman is the mother of the children and said that she shot the baby and another child along with the man inside the house, reports 6abc.

The woman is expected to be charged with murder later today.
