BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS. (THECOUNT) — Keron Anthony Hodge, a Rendezvous FC defender, was shot dead in Barbados overnight, according to local reports.
Hodge, 44, was killed following a shooting incident at Golden Rock, The Pine on Saturday night.

Police say, Hodge, of Pinelands, St Michael, was standing with a several individuals when a group of men passed by and opened fire about 11:45 p.m. Saturday night.
The athlete was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Hodge received gunshot wounds to his chest area and was transported by private vehicle to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention. He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical personnel just after 12:00a.m. this morning, reports NationalNews.
