MADRID, SPAIN. (THECOUNT) — Gonzalo Caballero was seriously injured during a bullfight at a Madrid bullring Saturday, according to reports.

Caballero, 27, was performing during of the Spanish national holiday when he was gored and seriously injured by a bull, say organizers.

“Very serious prognosis for Gonzalo Caballero. Cornada in the left thigh with two trajectories, one of 30 centimeters and another of 25” that sectioned the femoral artery, announced the Plaza de las Ventas de Madrid on Twitter, reports Milenio.

The bullfighter was operated with general anesthesia in Sales, which has two operating rooms where bullfighters are treated, and then he was admitted to the hospital.
