FORT WORTH, TX. (THECOUNT) — Multiple Fort Worth FD and PD units are on the scene of a reported psychiatric incident near the intersection of W. 12th Street and Jennings Ave in downtown Fort Worth, reports DFWScanner on Friday.
There is an ongoing standoff between a person and police near the given location. This is an active and ongoing scene involving the department’s special response team, say reports from the scene.

Due to this standoff, a “shelter in place” has been put into effect for Fort Worth’s City Hall and the Zipper building.
There are numerous emergency responders in this area. Police are asking folks to avoid this scene until its been resolved.
