ALBANY, GA. (THECOUNT) — A death investigation is underway Saturday morning after Court of Appeals Judge Stephen Goss, was found shot dead.

Around 8 a.m., Albany Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Greenwood Drive on reports of shots fired.

When they arrived on-scene, 60-year old Judge Stephen Goss was located in a wooded area behind the residence deceased from a gunshot wound.

Currently, law enforcement is using all resources to identify the circumstances that led to his death, reports WFXL.
