PLATTSBURGH, NY. (THECOUNT) — The wife and son of State University of New York at Plattsburgh science professor, Dexter Criss, have been identified as the victims in a fatal Plattsburgh vehicle crash on Monday night.
Barbara and Dalton Criss were involved in a serious car crash Monday night on Route 3 just west of Plattsburgh.

Dalton passed away from his injuries Tuesday night and Barbara is still fighting for her life in intensive care.
The SUNY Plattsburgh community is rallying around the family saying “We hold Dexter, the Criss Family, the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir he leads, and others close to the family in our thoughts during such a difficult time. The Criss’ daughter, Danielle, is a SUNY Plattsburgh student and we are broken by this news,” reports MyChamplainValley.
