MAPLE HEIGHTS, OH. (THECOUNT) — Sheree Kirby has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting at a Maple Heights, Ohio nitespot early Saturday morning.

Kirby, 34, was shot dead after an early-morning bar incident turned deadly in the 16000 block of Libby Rd, of Maple Heights on Saturday.

Police responded to a report of a female laying in the middle of Libby Road, near the Paine Avenue intersection, around 2:40 a.m. Saturday, reports Cleveland19.

Upon arrival, officials discovered Kirby suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

She was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

According to police, the shooting was linked to an earlier disturbance that occurred in the parking lot of the Tonight 2 Lounge, reports Cleveland19.

Witnesses saw a small, white, four-door Kia or Hyundai with a broken out rear window speeding away from the scene.

The license plate of the vehicle is unknown.
