NEWARK, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Jahahd Payne, of Randolph, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting in Newark on Monday.
Payne, 19, died early Monday after he was found suffering from fatal gunshot wounds inside a vehicle in Newark, officials said.

Police responded to the 200 block of South 9th Street, near Fairmount Cemetery, after 3 a.m. on reports of a man injured in a vehicle.
Payne was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
No arrests and no suspect information was provided by officials.
Payne studied business administration at County College of Morris, according to social media profiles. He also attended Morris Catholic and Randolph high schools, reports DailyRecord.
