LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN, LA. (THECOUNT) — Lacy Patrick, of Mobile, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal boating accident Fourth of July in Louisiana.

Patrick, 20, was vacationing in Louisiana when she was killed in a boating accident while on Lake Pontchartrain.

According to reports, Patrick was swimming in the lake Thursday and was struck by a passing boat.

Patrick’s body was recovered at around 7:00 a.m. on Friday, reports WKRG.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is investigating the death.
