LUBBOCK, TX. (THECOUNT) — The Sunday Lubbock, Texas Hitching Post club shooting victim has been identified as Kirvyn Alexander.
THECOUNT.COM has learned, Alexander, 28, posted to Facebook just hours before Lubbock police responded to a call of shots fired after 3:30 a.m. at the nightspot located at, 1902 East Broadway, in Lubbock, TX.

Upon arrival, officers discovered one male, later identified as Alexander, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead.
Metropolitan Special Crimes Investigators were called to the scene and determined Alexander had been involved in a fight inside the club prior to the shooting, reports KCBD.
KCBD identified a suspect in connection with the deadly incident as 38-year-old Steven Sanders. He is currently being housed at the the Lubbock County Detention Center charged with murder.
Friends and family members took to Facebook to remember Alexander, who posted the following to social media just hours before his death:
“Congrats tech even though I’ma UT fan but my city gone be turnt tonight”
This case remains under investigation.
