OHATCHEE, AL. (THECOUNT) — Trenton Gordon, of Anniston, Alabama, has been identified as the deceased suspect accused of fatally shooting his 6-month-old daughter and then turning the gun on himself in Ohatchee, Alabama, following an argument with the girl’s grandfather Sunday.
“YS Hitta” Gordon, 23, shot and killed his infant daughter and then himself during an argument with the girl’s grandfather, who was shot in the arm during the altercation.

According to officials, they responded to calls of a domestic disturbance near Ohatchee on Sunday between Gordon and the baby’s mother, who had a filed a protective order against him.
Gordon showed up with the baby girl to her residence and got into an argument during which time he displayed a weapon and shot the girl’s grandfather in the arm.
Authorities say Gordon then fled the home with the girl, where he shot and killed her before turning the gun on himself.
The grandfather was transported to an area hospital for treatment of gunshot injuries, he is expected to recover, Calhoun County Sheriff Matthew Wade told members of the press Monday.
Hours before the double-fatal shooting, Gordon singled pending trouble on Facebook:
“THIS WILL BE THE LAST DAY I LIVE I LOVE EVERYONE THAT WAS IN MY LIFE”
Friends and family members took to Facebook to lament Gordon’s passing:
