MORRISTOWN TOWNSHIP, MN. (THECOUNT) – Travis Pineur of Faribault, Minnesota, has been identified as the victim killed in a freak accident involving a tow hitch in Morristown Twp, on Sunday.
Pineur, 33, was attempting to remove a vehicle stuck in a ditch when the fatal accident occurred Sunday.

The southern Minnesota man was killed Sunday after getting struck in the head by a flying tow hitch while attempting to remove a disabled vehicle disabled stuck in a ditch.
Pineur was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of massive blunt force head trauma.
Deputies say Pineur went into the ditch earlier in the day and a Waterville man stopped to help him out.
They were using a tow strap when the receiver hitch broke, went through the rear windows of Pineur’s truck and hit him in the back of the head, reported KFGO on Tuesday.
