DECATUR, AL. (THECOUNT) — William Glen-Austin Stout, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck Saturday night in Decatur, according to officials.
Stout, 19, was on-foot when he was struck by an RV traveling on Highway 31 Saturday around 9:30 p.m.

Police received a call from the RV driver saying he struck “something” while traveling north on U.S. Highway 31.
Officers responded and later located Stout’s body on the bank of the Tennessee River, according to Limestone County coroner.
Officials say it appears Stout collided with the RV which then caused him to be thrown over the rail and onto the bank of the river.
Police said the RV driver, from Fayetteville, TN, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
No one was cited at the scene of the deadly collision.
Decatur police say the investigation is ongoing.
