SOMERVILLE, MA. (THECOUNT) — Allison Donovan, of Somerville, Mass, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally hit on a Somerville street Friday night.
Donovan, 40, was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver of a pickup truck that also struck and injured another pedestrian on Friday.

Police were called to the intersection of Hardan Rd & Powder House Blvd, in Somerville, Mass, at approximately 7:16 p.m. on reports of a hit-and-run.
According to investigators, the driver was operating a dark-colored, late-model, full-size pickup truck. The vehicle has a black cover over the bed of the truck and is possibly a Ford F-150. The vehicle is believed to have sustained front-end damage on the left side.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said both victims, both women, were transported to an area hospital where Donovan was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The second woman, who has not been identified, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and has since been discharged, reports WCVB.

According to social media, Donovan was a K-8 Literacy Coordinator and Title I Director for Watertown Public Schools. She worked as a teacher at Hosmer School and was an interim principal at Lowell High School:
