LEXINGTON, KY. (THECOUNT) — Police and the U.S. Marshals have announced they are searching for 28-year-old James Ragland in the murder of Iesha Edwards January 26, outside a gentlemen’s club on Lexington’s east side.
An arrest warrant was issued for Ragland in the murder of the 27-year-old who was shot and killed outside The Fox Club on Winchester Road Jan. 26.

U.S. Marshals arrested Ragland’s suspected accomplice Gaige Phillips who is accused of facilitation to murder. He was captured in Detroit, Michigan. Ragland is also from Detroit and could still be in that area, reports WKYT.
Edwards, 27, died of gunshot injuries just before 3 a.m. after being shot outside Lexington’s Fox Club, located at, 3946, 987 Winchester Rd, in Lexington, KY.
The Fayette County Coroner confirmed Edwards died of a gunshot wound just before 3 a.m. after being transported to an area hospital.
Police were reviewing surveillance footage after the shooting occurred about 2:30 a.m.
Authorities said they were looking for a male suspect but did not say what might have led up to the deadly shooting.
Police found shell casings at the scene, and an unoccupied vehicle in front of the club was struck by a bullet, reports LEX18.
Anyone with possible information on the fatal incident are asked to contact police at 911 immediately.
