HUNTSVILLE, AL. (THECOUNT) Jennifer Lynn Hollis, of Madison County, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal house fire in Huntsville Thursday night.
Hollis, 49, was killed after possibly contacting authorities alerting them to the blaze while inside the residence, Huntsville Fire & Rescue confirmed.

Crews responded around 8:40 p.m. Thursday night to a house fire on Stevens Avenue. Upon arrival, first responders observed visible flames through the roof.
Firefighters entered the dwelling and proceeded to extinguish the fire.
After the fire was out, investigators discovered the body of an adult woman.
Capt. Frank McKenzie said they got several calls about the fire. He said one call was from someone saying they were in the house. It is not yet known if that was the person who died, reports WAFF.
Anyone with possible information on the incident should contact police at 911.
The investigation is ongoing.
